Though many know of Michigan History magazine from its long tenure as the State's official history periodical until it was transferred to the Historical Society of Michigan a few years ago, how many know of the Chronicle, which is described as a membership benefit for being an HSM subscriber? At any rate, the Fall 2012 issue (Vol. 35 No. 3) is out with a host of stories on Michigan Civil War topics, including the cover story "Tales of Michigan's 10th Infantry."
