More good Michigan Civil War renovation news

Check out this blog maintained by the Mindfield folks who purchased and are renovating the Grand Army of the Republic building in Detroit: GAR gets TLC

They get it. They get that they are bringing back to life a building that was dedicated to and inhabited by the victorious veterans of the Civil War who largely came from and returned to the Great Lake State. It will be a thrill to visit the building once it is restored. Truly, truly amazingly great.
