Report from the Cascades Reenactment

Yours truly spent Saturday, most of the day, at the 27th annual Civil War Muster at Jackson MI. Great weather, great turn-out, great book sales. My post was in the bandstand, which was adjacent to the Union artillery, posted just inside a doorway, next to some wonderful people at the next table. As the nearest cannon fired off its first round, the concussive effect almost knocked us down. Truly impressive.
